Terms & Conditions

By accessing, registering, or using Lex Courtbook, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and Master User Agreement.

1. Master User Agreement & Nature of Platform

Understanding platform scope and professional responsibilities.

Lex Courtbook is a tech-enabled legal diary, case management, cause list tracker, and productivity tool intended to assist advocates, law firms, litigants, and legal staff.

No Legal Advice: The Platform is not a law firm and does not provide formal legal representation. All legal decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user or advocate.

2. AI Assistance Disclaimer

Mandatory independent verification requirement.

AI-assisted features are provided for drafting support and administrative convenience. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or outdated references. Users must independently verify all legal citations, drafting, and dates prior to court filing.

3. Subscriptions & Refund Policy

Subscription billing, taxes, and non-refundable terms.

Subscription fees are payable in advance. Activated digital subscriptions are non-refundable except where mandated by statutory law.

4. Limitation of Liability

Cap on damages and liability limitations.

Under no circumstances shall Lex Courtbook or its developers be liable for missed court dates, filing defaults, or lost profits. Aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

At Lex Courtbook, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your Lex Courtbook account, follow the instructions below.

How to Request Account Deletion

Choose from Option 1 (In-App) or Option 2 (Via Email).

Option 1 (Recommended)

Open the Lex Courtbook app on your mobile device.

Go to Settings.

Open Privacy & Security.

Tap Delete Account.

Re-authenticate your account credentials.

Confirm the deletion request.

Your account deletion will begin immediately.

Option 2 (Via Email)

If you are unable to access your account, send an email to:

Email Subject: Delete My Lex Courtbook Account
Include: Registered Email Address, Full Name, Reason (Optional)

What Data Will Be Deleted

Information that will be permanently removed.

Once your account is deleted, the following information will be permanently removed:

Personal Profile
Cases & Hearings
Calendar Entries & Reminders
Notes & Uploaded Documents
Notifications & Preferences
Chat History (if available)
Uploaded Files & Device Tokens
Other user-generated data

Warning: This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data That May Be Retained

Minimal records retained strictly for fraud prevention.

To prevent abuse of our 14-day free trial, Lex Courtbook retains a secure, irreversible hash of the email address used to create the account.

This record:

Cannot be used to identify you directly.
Does not contain your personal profile.
Does not contain your cases or documents.
Is retained solely for fraud prevention and to ensure that each user receives only one free trial.

No other personal account information is retained after deletion unless required by applicable law.
